Seaventure features a 1-A Super ice class rating — the highest ice class awarded to passenger vessels.

The ship also offers a host of new activities. There’s a sauna, a fitness center, a custom-built citizen science lab, and heated saltwater pool. There is more storage space, which is important because it means we can carry more equipment, so that more of our guests can participate in activities like kayaking and camping.

The common areas are larger and beautifully appointed, and the ship has two kitchens, one on the Lido deck for al fresco dining when weather permits.

• Seaventure offers a limited number of Triple cabins which can be configured with 1 queen bed and 1 single bed or 3 single beds. The exception to this are cabins 409 and 411 which have 1 fixed queen and 1 single, making them better suited for families.

• Single Supplement: a limited number of twin suites may be sold for single occupancy at 1.7 times the twin rate.
• Request-Share Program: we match solo travelers of the same gender with other solo travelers who indicate they are willing to share. Cabin share is available in the following categories: Triple, Porthole, Window.
• Adventure Options: must be pre-booked and paid for prior to start of the trip. Ask for availability on each specific voyage (there are limited spaces). Camping US$295, Kayaking US$895, Citizen Science – Included, Photography – Included.
• Mandatory Medical Evacuation & Repatriation Insurance: not included (minimum of US$150,000 required).
• Fuel Surcharge: it may be applied for all bookings if there is a substantial increase in fuel costs.
