AntArctic Polar Expeditions was founded in Ushuaia, Argentina, by Lorena Berutti. Originally from Buenos Aires, where she studied tourism, she began working with Antarctic travel in 2007 and has been helping travelers explore Antarctica and the Arctic ever since.
Over the years, Lorena has worked closely with leading expedition operators and has assisted guests from around the world in planning journeys to the polar regions. Her approach is based on experience, honest advice, and a deep understanding of the destinations she recommends.
Travel has always been more than a profession. Lorena is passionate about exploring the world and has visited more than 40 countries across several continents. This personal experience allows her to connect naturally with travelers and better understand the different expectations, travel styles, and interests of each guest.
Polar travel is both her profession and her greatest travel passion. She has traveled to Antarctica more than ten times and to the Arctic on multiple occasions, gaining first-hand knowledge of different ships, itineraries, and destinations.
Her experience includes classic Antarctic voyages, expeditions south of the Antarctic Circle, and the renowned Snow Hill Emperor Penguin expedition aboard the Russian icebreaker Kapitan Khlebnikov. These experiences provide valuable insights when advising travelers seeking unique polar adventures.
